UPDATE, Sept. 11: A contractor is paving Wire Road just north of Webster Road following emergency storm sewer repairs. The southbound lanes are expected to reopen this evening, Sept. 11.

UPDATE, Sept. 9: The southbound lanes of Wire Road just north of Webster Road will remain closed during emergency storm sewer repairs in the area. This release will be updated with the anticipated completion date as the repairs progress.

Sept. 8: AUBURN, Ala.- The southbound lanes of Wire Road just north of Webster Road will be closed today, Sept. 8, while Auburn University performs emergency storm sewer repairs in the area. Crews are working to maintain two-way traffic using the northbound lanes. Webster Road will remain accessible during the work.

Motorists are advised to use caution in the area and to take alternate routes to avoid delays. This release will be updated once a timeframe for the work has be determined.
